4Kranz im Wert von eintausend Drachmen; dass er auch
5proxenos und Wohltäter des Volkes der Athener
6sein soll, er selbst und die Nachkommen, und sie
7Zugang haben zum Rat und zum Volk unmittelber
8nach den Opfern, und dass ihnen das Recht zum Erwerb von Grund
9und Haus sei gemäß dem Gesetz; sass sich ihrer annehmen der Rat
10auf Samos und das Volk und die jeweils aus Athen
11entsandten Generäle, damit von
12keiner Seite Unrecht geschieht; dass aufzeichne diesen
13Beschluß der Sekretär, der während der Prytanien amtiert, und
14aufstelle auf die Akropolis; dass für die Aufzeichnung auf die
15Stele der Schatzmeister des Volkes 30 Drachmen
16geben aus dem Dekret-Fonds des
17Volkes; dass man die Gesandten der Priener
18zum Festbankett in das Prytaneion lade für morgen.

2the Athenian People, to praise Ph-
3son of Admetos of Priene, and crown him with a gold
4crown of a thousand drachmas; and he shall also be proxenos
5and benefactor of the Athenian People,
6both himself and his descendants, and they shall have
7right of access to the Council and the People first
8after the sacred business, and right of ownership of land and a house, according
9to the law; and the Council in Samos shall take care of them,
10and the People and the generals
11[sent out] from Athens [at any time], so that
12they suffer no harm; and the prytany secretary
13shall inscribe this decree and
14stand it on the acropolis; and for inscribing the
15stele the treasurer of the People shall give [30] drachmas
16from the People’s fund for expenditure
17on decrees; and to invite the envoys of the Prienians
18to hospitality in the city hall tomorrow.
